As we continue to grow, were looking to recruit an experienced MET Technician to join our talented team based in Rayleigh. The Role As a MET Technician, youll ensure that all motor vehicle repairs are carried out to the highest industry and manufacturer standards. Your responsibilities will include: Inspecting and reporting on vehicle structure and paintwork Ensuring all vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers Safely removing, storing, and disposing of vehicle components, fluids, and gases Reassembling vehicles post-repair with precision and thorough quality checks Performing 4-wheel alignments as required Completing quality control checks, final sign-off, and ATA signatures Reporting any faults or defects found during repair Maintaining and caring for tools, equipment, and work areas Following correct repair methods, ensuring documentation is accurate and visible Conducting vehicle safety checks, beam settings, and noting all warnings on job cards Ensuring mechanical work meets specification, including torqueing all safety-critical bolts Maintaining workshop cleanliness (seat covers, mats, returned parts in order) Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, youll need: Minimum 5 years experience in body repair of motor vehicles Auto electrical qualifications and hands-on experience Knowledge of computerised alignment systems Full UK driving licence Strong mechanical and suspension knowledge Recognised Aircon and Encapsulated Glass training (preferred) A team-oriented attitude, flexibility, and a can-do approach Accountability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail Why Join Us?
