The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time). Hours: * Linehaul - Days, Afternoons and Nights Pay Rate: * Linehaul- £17.75 - £18.25 per hour PAYE Location: Darlington, DL1 Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing. The role: * Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub. * You may potentially be required to load and unload the vehicle using a tail lift or a pump truck Requirements: * Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). * Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. * 6 months minimum experience required * No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. * Excellent communication skills. * A safety-first mindset.
