Your new role
Following sustained growth and with an ambitious five-year plan in place, this team are keen to make the strategic addition of an experienced Partner, Legal Director or Managing/ Senior Associate looking to step up into a Partner / Partner Designate role to join their Professional Risks team, where you will play a central role in the development and growth of this vibrant, expanding practice.
You will:
1. Lead onplex, high‑value professional liability claims involving a broad array of professions, often spanning multi‑million‑pound exposures.
2. Advise insurers on policy coverage, risk management and regulatory issues, drawing upon deep sector knowledge.
3. Oversee and mentor talented junior lawyers, fostering best‑in‑class technical skills and high‑quality service delivery
4. Build and enhance long‑term client relationships with major insurers, professional services firms and brokers
5. Contribute proactively to business development, thought leadership and strategic team initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
6. Proven experience of playing a significant leadership role in a leading
professional indemnity team in a well-regarded practice
7. Strong experience in defending claims involving solicitors, brokers, accountants, construction professionals or financial advisers
8. Deep understanding of litigation strategy and insurer expectations.
9. Excellentmunication skills and the ability to develop trusted relationships.
10. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team growth.
