Role Overview
Lyco Group is a leading UK lighting specialist, supplying own-brand and third-party products to both consumers and trade through our four websites — Lyco, Lighting Direct, Castlegate Lighting and Online Lighting — plus a growing projects and key accounts channel. Working with our PE-backed Spanish parent company, EfectoLED, we have ambitious growth plans for the years ahead.
We are seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Senior Supply Chain Manager to take ownership for the end-to-end supply chain, working with a network of Asian, UK and European vendors to ensure optimal product availability and stock levels.
Collaborating closely with commercial and merchandising teams to align purchasing and logistics strategies with sales activity and promotional plans, you’ll lead the development of advanced forecasting and demand planning models using Slim4 (Slimstock).

Key Responsibilities
* Manage sourcing and purchasing activity across Asia (FOB/container), the UK and Europe — including our Spanish parent.
* Build strong supplier and sourcing-agent relationships to secure cost-effective, reliable supply.
* Oversee logistics and inbound flow to ensure seamless operations.
* Develop KPI reporting to track inventory health, supplier performance and working capital efficiency.
* Optimise demand planning, stock profiling and replenishment accuracy through Slim4.
* Collaborate proactively with the commercial and merchandising teams to align purchasing with sales forecasts, promotions and product lifecycles.
* Turn sales and market data into actionable supply and purchasing strategies.
* Identify risks and opportunities in supply and take proactive action.
* Lead strategic initiatives, including logistics optimisation, systems and process enhancements and sustainability measures.
* Provide cover for the Head of Operations when required.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
* Proven track record in international sourcing and procurement, particularly from Asia (FOB/container).
* Experience managing UK and European suppliers, with a strong understanding of lead times, compliance and distribution logistics.
* Hands-on experience with forecasting, inventory optimisation and demand planning tools – ideally Slim4 (Slimstock).
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in retail, wholesale or multi-channel B2C/B2B environments.
* Familiarity with ERP and data analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI).
* Experience in continuous improvement or change management initiatives.
