What You’ll Do
As part of Vodafone’s global brand strategy and purpose team, this role supports the organization’s commercial priorities and leverages our brand to drive growth. The role shapes brand positioning and reputation in the market, ensuring alignment with business objectives through consistent and high-quality execution. The position requires advanced skills and a proven track record in brand strategy development, market analysis, and cross-functional leadership. It is also a role-model position for mentoring the next generation of leaders within the team.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
* Brand Purpose and Reputation Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy for more intentional management of Vodafone’s reputation driven through Brand Purpose programs, in conjunction with External Affairs, Internal Communications and PR Teams.
* Brand Strategy: Lead development and execution of specific strategic projects under the Global Brand Strategy and communications platforms to deliver a strong commercial growth platform that differentiates the brand.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, sales, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and integration across all channels. Engage with Brand teams across OPCOs to ensure consistent execution.
* Creative Direction: Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to develop compelling brand narratives, campaigns, and assets that resonate with target audiences.
* Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure brand performance and effectiveness, using insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate brand strategies and initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support across the organization.
Who You Are
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
* Strong understanding of brand strategy, communication, and creative development
* Experience in campaigns management
* Experience of stakeholder management within a complex, multi-cultural organization
* Experience of managing large agencies – creative, media, digital, activation
* Experience of content production and activation across social and digital media
* Strong time and project management skills
* Pro-active, resourceful, resilient and engaged
Must have technical / professional qualifications
* Relevant degree preferred, though not essential
