The UK Data & AI Strategy team is scaling rapidly, supporting CDOs and senior leadership across major financial institutions on transformation at the board level.
The Role
This is a client-facing, high-ownership leadership role. As Principal Consultant, you’ll shape enterprise AI agendas, define governance strategies, and lead major transformation engagements with C-suite stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in business development, contributing to pre-sales, proposal writing, and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategy definition across GenAI governance, ethics, and AI compliance
* Own executive-level workshops and stakeholder alignment
* Shape operating models, use-case roadmaps, and investment narratives
* Support revenue growth through BD, pre-sales, and proposal development
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal IP and methodologies
About You
* 7+ years in consulting, strategy, or enterprise transformation
* Proven business development experience (proposals, revenue targets)
* Deep understanding of GenAI, governance frameworks, and regulatory context (e.g. EU AI Act)
* Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder influence skills
* Background in financial services preferred; regulated industries also considered
* Permanent track record (not open to contractors or short-tenure profiles)
