Overview
Trainee Coding & Programmer Placement Programme is a training programme with career placement and fees apply. The programme is designed for individuals with none or limited experience who want to start a career in programming. It is not intended for experienced programmers.
Whether you are working full-time, part-time or are unemployed, the package can be completed at a pace that suits you and can be completed in as little as a few weeks or a few months (study timings are approximate and assume you can study for a minimum of 5 hours per week). Training times may be reduced if you are able to invest more time each week.
Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS
The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses selected to maximise learning and employability. Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor for 1-2-1 or group sessions.
* HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks)
* CSS Essentials (up to weeks)
Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, the trainer will move you forward to the next stage.
Stage 2 – Additional Online Training
The second step includes a selection of more advanced courses to prepare you for entry-level programming roles and help you gain a step ahead.
* Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
* Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript forms the foundation of most things on the Internet. Python is a versatile language used across many industries.
Step 3 - Building a Portfolio Website Project
Your tutor will guide you to build a personalised portfolio. A strong portfolio is essential for a programming career. Completion of additional study courses is voluntary but recommended.

Step 4 – Entry Level Web Administrator Placement
We will help you secure your first role in coding, programming, or web development. Entry-level roles typically start between £25k - £40k depending on prior knowledge or experience.
