We have already LOIs, a patent is filled and have worked with the UM6P Explorer Program in collaboration with the MIT Sandbox.
Role Description:
We’re looking for a full-time Engineering & Design Intern to join our remote team. You will work on real projects that bring our electricity-generating sailboats to life. Your tasks will include:
* Creating and updating 3D models of sailboat prototypes
* Assisting with website updates and digital content
* Producing visualizations, schematics, and animations for presentations
* Supporting small R&D tasks and prototype documentation
* Conducting research to improve designs and processes
Important note: This is an unpaid internship. However, high-performing interns may secure a long-term role in the startup and potentially receive equity or a stake upon launch.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency in CAD / 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, etc.)
* Basic web editing skills (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
* Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from a top-tier school in Engineering, Design, or a related field
