Job Description:
We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the creation of all Orchestration flows, flow validation, testing and re-use for all underlying automation components. You will apply Cloud subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
The Cloud Automation Engineer utilizes consulting skills including questioning, listening, ideas development, personal rapport and subject matter familiarity to accomplish project tasks. The Engineer should be capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, managing capability requirements and integrating of Cloud solutions into varied environments.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
1. Identify, architect, design and implement new automation workflows that:Meet the client requirements;Integrate with the ES standard management tools.
2. Perform flow and software modification after the solution has been brought in production.
3. Install and upgrade the infrastructure components.
4. Promote standardization and automation during implementation.
5. Ensure implementation are aligned with engineering repositories (Playbooks, CMR) and Portfolio websites/repositories (What we sell, DXC Portfolio portals).
6. Ensure that existing implementation/deliverables/templates are leveraged to satisfy new work requests.
7. Ensure applicable content standards are met.
8. Ensure peer review deliverables are logged.
9. Store engineering related collateral in approved configuration management repository.
10. Produce/review/participate Low Level Designs based on High Level Designs and client requirements.
11. Ensure projects and tasks to be performed with the highest quality and according to documentation in predefined timelines.

Education (degree) and professional experience required:
15. Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or electrical engineering or equivalent
16. At least 3 years’ experience in an advanced support role or equivalent
17. Customer facing experience
Other requirements:
18. Fluent in written and spoken English language
19. Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearance.
