What will the Accounts Senior role involve?
Managing a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and individuals
Preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders
Preparing corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns
Reviewing VAT returns and working with online accounting packages
Supervising, training and reviewing work of semi-seniors and assistants
Liaising with HMRC and attending client meetings
Supporting the development of the team and assisting with advisory projects
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior vacancy:
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or final stage studier
Recent UK accountancy practice experience
Strong technical grounding in accounts and tax compliance
Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
Confident using MS Office and cloud-based accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks
