About the Role
We are seeking a Health Lead Sector Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering complex digital transformations across the healthcare sector.
This role involves setting architectural vision, designing target operating models, and building future-ready technology-enabled platforms for Tier 1 health clients. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders - from CDIOs and CCIOs to clinical and non-clinical leaders - to drive innovation and help organisations harness the power of digital, data, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and lead end-to-end architecture solutions spanning multiple technologies, developing strategic roadmaps for change.
* Work closely with health sector leaders to accelerate strategies through adoption of innovative digital solutions.
* Provide technical oversight of major programmes, ensuring alignment with the agreed architectural vision.
* Mentor and develop architecture teams, building the next generation of talent and strengthening sector capabilities.
* Drive adoption of cloud, data, AI, and advanced digital solutions within the healthcare environment.
What We're Looking For
* Strong knowledge of NHS national and local architecture, integration standards, and health sector technology.
* Experience with healthcare systems such as Electronic Patient Records (EPRs), Shared Care Records, Patient Portals, etc.
* Understanding of NHS national datasets, digital twin, BIM, IoT, robotics, and screening programmes (desirable).
* Expertise in Enterprise Architecture and E2E Solution Architecture.
* Proven leadership in guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex programmes.
* Familiarity with the vendor landscape, with certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe, or vendor-specific credentials (Epiq, Cerner) desirable.
* Ability to manage senior healthcare stakeholders (C-suite, CCIOs, CDIOs, directors).
* Broad understanding of Cloud, Data, and AI technologies and their application in healthcare.
