Are you a passionate leader who puts children at the heart of everything you do? We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and highly knowledgeable Nursery Manager to join our team and lead Tiny Adventures into its next exciting chapter.
Duties
* Working closely with nursery directors
* Leading and inspiring a dedicated team to deliver outstanding early years education and care
* Ensuring the nursery meets all OFSTED and statutory requirements
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive
* Building strong partnership with parents, carers and local community
* Managing staffing levels and daily operations effectively
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
* Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the nursery setting.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
* Collaborate with local authorities and educational bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Organise activities and events that engage both children and their families within the community.
Skills
* A minimum of Level 3 Early Years qualification (level 5/6 desirable)
* Previous experience in a leadership position
* Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire staff members.
* Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive as required for nursery-related activities or events is preferred.
* A compassionate approach towards childcare, ensuring each child's individual needs are met effectively.
