Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive school in Kettering. In this role, you’ll support children with a range of special educational needs, both in and outside of the classroom, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
* Assist during lessons, break times, and lunch
* Support the class teacher with day-to-day activities
* Help maintain a safe and organised classroom
* Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all pupils
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in a school setting is not essential – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are enthusiastic about working with children.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience with SEN children (preferred, not essential)
* Be patient, reliable, and committed
* Show initiative and a proactive approach
* Have (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Hold permanent UK residency (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
