Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waste Porter/Driver (Bank) within our Waste Management based at Crosshouse Hospital.
What You Will Do
The role of the Waste Management Porter is the safe uplift and removal of all waste streams (clinical, domestic, cardboard, recycling, sharps boxes, etc) collection of dirty linen throughout the Hospital on a daily basis, to comply with the National Waste Strategy for Scotland and the Audit Scotland – Waste Management Report 2005- 2006 and Special Waste Amendments Scottish Regulations 2004 (SS1 2004 No112).
The Postholder Will
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
* Be numerate and literate
* Have good communication and practical skills
* Full Driving Licence is preferred
Hours
As and when required between Monday – Sunday 0700 hours - 2100 hours UK
Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
