Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a territory plan based on target agencies and applicable use cases, resulting in a pipeline of opportunities in the target market, helping achieve sales metrics.
2. Develop expert knowledge of Neo4j solutions and their applicability in the target market.
3. Present to customers the benefits and advantages of graph technology versus alternative database approaches.
4. Execute sales cycles employing Strategic Selling strategies and tactics.
5. Build and present proposals involving Neo4j products and services.
6. Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineering to scope and deliver on well-qualified POCs.
7. Grow the business in accounts you have landed (“Land & Expand”).
8. Guide and coordinate with Field Marketing resources targeting your accounts.
9. Maintain accurate pipeline data in Neo4j CRM system following forecasting guidelines.
Ideal Qualifications:
1. Coursework in database, SQL, computer programming, or related fields is desirable.
2. 7+ years of success in selling technical solutions and software products.
3. Experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies.
4. Experience with open-source business models, selling subscriptions for on-premise or hybrid deployments.
5. Previous experience in high-growth software companies leveraging dedicated sales and marketing resources.
6. Self-starter with ability to work remotely and travel for client meetings.
7. Excellent references, preferably from previous managers.
8. Attention to detail in CRM data management.
