The school is now seeking a passionate and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join their team from February 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ wellbeing, confidence, and life skills.

The Role
As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ personal, social, health, and economic education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and school requirements. You will deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that help students navigate adolescence and develop the skills they need for future success.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive PSHE lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 involvement.
* Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities and backgrounds.
* Encourage exploration of key life skills, including emotional wellbeing, relationships, financial literacy, resilience, and citizenship.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support personal development.
* Support students in developing confidence, self-awareness, and resilience alongside their academic journey.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the PSHE curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
* Manage behaviour effectively in line with the school’s policies.
* Participate in wider school life, including enrichment activities and extracurricular initiatives.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student welfare.

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* A relevant degree or experience in areas such as PSHE, Sociology, Psychology, or Health Education.
* Experience teaching PSHE at secondary school level (or relevant training placements for ECTs).
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to supporting students’ personal and social development.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
