Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only options available)
About the Role
We are seeking caring, dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with children and young people aged 4–17 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will support pupils in educational settings across the Aldershot area, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement support plans
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Assist with personal care where required (training provided)
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
About You
* Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with SEN
* Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, or similar – SEN experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt to different needs and settings
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
