About the Team: The Children with Disabilities Team supports children with complex and profound needs as a result of their disabilities.

About the Role: We are recruiting for the role of a Family Practitioner in our Children with Disabilities Team covering the North of the County (Bedworth, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire). The position is full time for 37 hours per week and on a permanent contract basis.
Key Details
* You will be based at our Hillary Road Office in Nuneaton.
* Your working pattern will be 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 5pm on Fridays.
* Occasionally we may ask that you work outside of these hours for example, in an emergency.
* We offer a mixture of office and home based working. The expectation is you are office based at least twice per week.
Responsibilities / Role Focus
* Contribute to Family Help Assessments and work with Children in Need, children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Care.
* Support multi-disciplinary collaboration with universal and mainstream services to support children, young people and their families.
* Engage with families to build strong relationships and connections through Warwickshire’s Children and Families service.
Key Requirements
* We are looking for an ambitious, professional, conscientious Family Practitioner to join our team.
* Ideally, you will have experience of children and young people with complex needs and disabilities.
* Be knowledgeable about the challenges experienced by families as a whole and have experience supporting children and their families.
* Be a team player, working with colleagues in a range of disciplines, sharing knowledge, and providing support and advice to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
