As a Bank Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the service's facilities are fit for purpose, including gardening and conducting regular audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring safety for service users, staff, and visitors.
You will work alongside an established team, handling maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors, and supporting the upkeep of the service.

As a Bank Maintenance Assistant, you will:
* Assist in maintaining the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Utilize good DIY skills to maintain safety standards.
* Participate in regular checks and maintenance activities.
* Assist in the repair and maintenance of buildings.
* Support all decorating tasks.
* Liaise with managers to report faults and defects.
* Participate in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
* Coordinate with contractors on-site and complete relevant paperwork and tool checks.
To be successful, you should:
* Follow systems and procedures.
* Have previous maintenance experience.
* Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times.
* Attend and participate in training and staff meetings.

You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, located next to Gatwick, caring for adult men 18+ with potential forensic backgrounds and mental health challenges such as personality disorders, substance misuse, and challenging behaviors.
