An opportunity to support essential services within a leading health organisation, delivering expert HR guidance to managers and staff to enhance organisational performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a positive, inclusive working environment. The role: Workforce Modernisation: Lead service redesign, workforce planning, and change initiatives to support innovation and efficient service delivery. Strategic HR Leadership: Shape and implement HR strategies, ensuring a skilled, flexible, and motivated workforce aligned to Trust goals. Data-Driven Planning: Use workforce analytics to guide decision-making, improve performance, and address recruitment and retention challenges. Change & Organisational Development: Drive organisational change projects, promoting continuous improvement and staff engagement. Collaborative Relationships: Foster strong internal and external partnerships, promoting positive employee relations and cross-sector collaboration. Governance & Resource Management: Ensure compliance with policy, manage training resources, support business continuity, and contribute to financial planning. Professional Standards & Engagement: Model Trust values, support equality, maintain data governance, and lead public and staff involvement initiatives. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: A relevant university degree or professional qualification and experience in a senior management role. OR Extensive experience in a senior management role within HR/OD. AND Have provided specialist HR support and advice on a range of service delivery issues. Contributed to continuous improvement and OD initiatives that have facilitated organisation effectiveness. Successfully influenced at all levels in the organisation.
