Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Welling, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom and helping students with their educational and social development. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Job Duties:
1. Assisting teachers with lesson preparation
2. Supporting individual students or small groups with learning activities
3. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
5. Assisting with classroom management
Required Qualifications:
6. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
7. Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience as a teaching assistant is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
8. Understanding of educational principles and practises
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Patience and empathy when working with students
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a school environment, following school hours and term dates. The role may involve working with students with diverse needs and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
