Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated Workshop Assistant to support our local client's team in various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of manual skills and mechanical knowledge, enabling them to contribute effectively to their projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle some heavy lifting and is comfortable using hand and power tools. This role is to start ASAP and will be on a temp to perm basis.

Duties
General odd jobs in workshop
Assemble equipment and components according to provided schematics.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Perform equipment repairs as necessary, utilising both hand tools and power tools.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.Skills
Some mechanical knowledge, particularly in assembling and maintaining equipment would be beneficial
Experience with heavy lifting, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Competence in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
