An exciting opportunity has arisen with Bradford District Care Foundation Trust as part of the development of our Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Pathway.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced mental health practitioner to the role of Clinical Lead for Structured Clinical Management (SCM). The successful candidate will work across our Community Mental Health Teams supporting the implementation and delivery of SCM, directly delivering interventions and providing supervision to colleagues. The successful candidate with be SCM accredited and have experience of supervising staff.

Main duties of the job
Co-ordinate, contribute to and supervise the delivery of Structured Clinical Management (SCM) as part of the Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Pathway.
Clinically govern SCM to ensure that care provided in the introductory, active intervention and discharge phases of treatment meet good practice standards.
Co-ordinate staffing and other resources to deliver SCM group interventions.
Work directly with a case load delivering SCM.
Provide consultation and training to staff as needed to support SCM delivery and more broadly to support the CEN pathway.
Contribute to the delivery of the CEN pathway.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Degree level or Diploma (with additional learning) qualification in a core profession (Occupational Therapy, Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social work). AND Registration with a professional body e.g. Health & Care Professions Council, NMC, Social Work England OR Doctorate level training in clinical or applied psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, or a BPS Statement of Equivalence. Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status. OR Specialist post graduate training to masters level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality - including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy AND Accreditation from a recognised Psychological Therapy body e.g. BABCP, BACP, UKCP, HCPC via: (a) Professional route; requiring previous mental health qualification e.g. Clin. Psych., RMN, Dip. SW. or (b) where applicable, the KSA (knowledge, skills and attitude) route (e.g. with the BABCP). SCM Practitioner Status

6. Experience in risk formulation and safety planning

8. Able to contain, explore and formulate an understanding of high levels of distress both directly with patients and indirectly via supervision or case reviews with other staff.

11. Completion of SCM Basic Training and ongoing professional development
12. Attendance at 12 group supervision sessions, with presentation of clinical material in at least five
