Bank Theatre Healthcare Assistant | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital - Edinburgh | Bank
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join their fantastic Theatre team on a bank basis. The hours will be on an ad hoc basis between 7.30am - 8pm and include early and late shifts.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing a range of support services to the Nurses and Consultants during procedures
2. Assisting scrub nurses during procedures
3. Provide patient support within the anaesthetics room
4. Opening sterile packs
5. Checking instruments
6. Assisting with ordering equipment
7. Maintenance of quality care delivery
8. Understanding and contributing towards infection control
Who we're looking for:
9. Experience working in Theatres would be beneficial
10. We would be interested in candidates with experience in care
11. Willing to learn and develop
12. Passionate and motivated people
13. Good level of communication and good written English
14. Happy to be trained and looking for career development
