We are looking for a resilient, compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN/SEMH school in Farnborough, supporting pupils aged 4–16.
This setting supports young people with a range of additional needs, including:
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Autism (ASC)
* Learning difficulties
* Challenging behaviour
* Physical/medical needs

The school is set on a spacious, well-equipped site with a strong emphasis on both academic and vocational learning. Facilities include:

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting students to access learning, regulate emotions, and develop positive behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with SEN, SEMH needs, Autism, and learning difficulties
* Manage and respond to challenging behaviour using a calm, consistent approach
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students
* Assist with individualised learning plans and activities
* Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams
About You

You will be:
* Patient, resilient, and adaptable
* Confident supporting or de-escalating challenging behaviour
* Passionate about working with young people with additional needs (SEN/SEMH)
* A strong communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
* Willing to learn and develop within a specialist setting
Previous experience with SEN, SEMH, or Autism is beneficial but not essential.
