The Role:
As an Assistant Manager at one of our sites, you'll oversee our front-of-house operations and bar service to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising and supporting the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Overseeing bar operations, including stock management, ordering, and staff training.
* Ensuring the bar area is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
* Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
* Assisting in the development and execution of promotional events and activities.
* Collaborating with colleagues to uphold our reputation for exceptional hospitality and service.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following attributes would be advantageous:
* Passion for Welsh culture and hospitality.
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting.
* Strong understanding of bar operations, including cocktail preparation and inventory management.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
* Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic hospitality setting.
