Managing and updating the volunteer data base.
Arranging volunteer induction training.
Exploring ways to develop and improve the volunteer application processes.
Liaising with department managers.
Travel, Food and other expenses provided.
This a potentially rewarding volunteer opportunity for someone who would like to develop their administration and project management skills.
You will have the opportunity to explore ways of improving our volunteer application and placement process – i.e. making it more streamlined and efficient, improving communication between departments and helping ensure that volunteers are booked in for the appropriate training courses.
Skills
Good organisational skills and communication skills.
Confident with using IT tools such as data bases, word for windows and email.
Understands issues around data protection and confidentiality.
