Overview

Join Lloyds Banking Group as a Customer Insight Assistant Manager - Customer Needs. Location: Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Halifax or Chester. Salary: £39,825pa to £48,675pa plus an extensive benefits package. Hours: 35 hours, full time. Working pattern: Hybrid – spend at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of the listed hubs.

Responsibilities

* Support insight projects focused on customer behaviours, preferences, and emerging trends across features, propositions, and brand interactions.
* Assist in triangulating data from research, analysis, and behavioural metrics to build a holistic view of the customer.
* Help translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that inform and engage stakeholders.
* Collaborate with teams across business units to embed customer insight across the Group.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
* Promote a culture of customer-obsessed thinking across the organisation.


About you / Qualifications

* Experience in a customer insight or strategy role, ideally within financial services or a data-rich environment.
* Analytical skills with the ability to synthesise and triangulate data from multiple sources.
* Experience presenting and using storytelling to land messages.
* Aware of banking commercial context and a passion for improving customer experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) to create, collaborate, and present insight-driven content effectively.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple stakeholders.
