We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our API Experience team. You’ll lead and manage a team of engineers building the tooling and infrastructure that enables partners to securely integrate with Wise's API. This is a unique opportunity to shape the developer experience for major enterprise partners, directly impacting their success and accelerating Wise’s time to revenue.
Responsibilities
You will guide your team to deliver a world‑class developer experience built on three guiding principles:
* Secure: Champion robust security measures like mTLS and JOSE to protect partner data and meet the stringent security requirements of banks and financial institutions.
* Well‑Tooled: Own the development of our self‑service developer portal, streamlining processes for credential management and API monitoring.
* Testable: Enhance our Sandbox environment to accurately mirror production, giving partners ultimate confidence before going live.
Qualifications

* Technical Authority: You are an expert in Java (or similar modern stacks) and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty in the code.
