Job Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Stroke Rehabilitation Team at Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital. The role requires specialist assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and discharge planning for complex stroke patients.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard occupational therapy service to patients.
* Maintain an agreed caseload within the clinical specialism and perform advanced assessment of patients, including those with highly complex presentations.
* Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans as an autonomous practitioner.
* Plan and facilitate discharge to enable patients to recover and return to community.
Essential Criteria
* Current professional registration with HCPC.
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Experience in leadership and managing a team.
* Previous experience working within specialist stroke rehabilitation.
Skills
* Highly specialist skills in stroke rehabilitation approaches and therapy.
* Advanced rehabilitation skills in all activities of daily living.
