Conveyancing Assistant – Bingley | Residential Property
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy residential property team at a reputable legal practice based in Bingley. This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for someone with at least 12 months of hands-on conveyancing experience, particularly in residential sales and purchases .
The role is highly client-focused, requiring a professional, friendly and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be supporting Fee Earners and Solicitors with a high-volume caseload and must be confident in handling administrative tasks from file opening through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Opening new client files and accurately inputting details into the case management system
Preparing initial correspondence, legal documentation and issuing contracts on sale files
Progressing transactions in line with internal procedures
Ordering property searches and preparing reports to clients
Supporting with exchange of contracts, completions and post-completion work
Handling telephone and email enquiries from clients, estate agents and solicitors
Managing incoming and outgoing post
Assisting with general office administration including filing, billing and archiving
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Minimum 12 months’ experience in a conveyancing assistant role, particularly in sales and purchase
Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Competent IT user with accurate keyboard skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a deadline-driven environment
Friendly, professional and client-service oriented
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexible, proactive and willing to take initiative
