Sous Chef - Exquisite Cuisine Join our clients exceptional culinary team and elevate your career! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our client busy operation, where culinary artistry meets uncompromising standards. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious chef to work alongside clients our Executive Head Chef in creating extraordinary food experiences. The RoleAs a Sous Chef, you will be instrumental in leading and developing the talented kitchen brigade. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where creativity, precision, and excellence are paramount. Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Executive Head Chef in menu development and implementation
* Supervise and mentor Chef de Parties, Line Chefs, and General Assistants
* Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food quality
* Manage kitchen operations
* Oversee food preparation, portion control, and waste management
* Maintain the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene
* Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance management
* Control food costs and inventory management
* Share in product development/costing process
What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-end environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Exceptional culinary skills, experience in fine dining cuisine would be amazing but not essential
* Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Be able to liaise with the Development Chefs giving his/her expert advice for this demanding area.
* Formal culinary qualification or apprenticeship
