The Role
Brightwork are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic for a well-established, privately owned company based in Glasgow. This is a weekdays only role, offering an excellent work–life balance, with no evenings, nights or weekends required.
You'll be part of a small onsite maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of an in-house fleet of Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles This is a steady, well-organised environment, not breakdown cover or shift-based work.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
Fault diagnosis and mechanical/electrical repairs
MOT preparation and compliance checks
Maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness
Working collaboratively within a small engineering team
Adhering to all health & safety standards
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as an HGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Experience working on Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles
Relevant mechanical qualifications or strong time-served experience
Able to work independently with a practical, hands-on approach
What's on Offer
£32,000–£35,000 salary depending on experience
