HLTA - Alternative Provision Development Lead
Location: Norwich NR14 7QP
Salary: Support staff scale 7 – 17 £26,403 - £31,022 FTE
Vacancy Type: Permanent – 12 hours per week, TT+1

Framingham Earl High School has over 100 staff dedicated to providing a First-Class education. The school prides itself in delivering education through strong academic lessons and a nurturing ethos which encapsulates a wide range of community and co-curricular links. The school’s most recent Ofsted in 2022 demonstrated the school has an “ambitious curriculum” and that “teachers make appropriate adaptations to support pupils, including those with SEND, to achieve well”, resulting in a rating of “Good”. GCSE results in 2022 saw the school achieve higher than the national average across a variety of subjects.

Framingham Earl High School is a member of the Sapientia Education Trust (SET). SET is an expanding education Trust with 13 Primary and 9 Secondary Schools.
The Role
As the Alternative Provision Development Lead, you are expected to lead and deliver a high quality personalised learning provision for a range of learners with different needs including SEMH to ensure that all students thrive and make progress from their individual starting points. We are looking for an individual to create a Forest School provision using our Outdoor class which potential opportunities to develop the role further.
Person Specification
The professional competencies expected of the Alternative Provision Development Lead are:
* The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others;
* Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team;
* Be able to multi-task and work under pressure;
* Be flexible and resilient in managing and executing their daily responsibilities;
* Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills;
* Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions;
* The ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges.
The qualifications and experience required of the Alternative Provision Development
Lead are:
* A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
