To provide data domain aligned support to IMG, FFS, and other enterprise data clients and stakeholders to enhance investment decisions and fund oversight.
To serve as the point of contact for FFS, IMG, and other enterprise data clients for investment data related inquiries and partner with internal teams to ensure the integrity of investment and fund data.
To provide oversight of operational activities to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide data domain aligned support to IMG, FFS, and other enterprise data clients and stakeholders to enhance investment decisions and fund oversight. Serve as the point of contact for data inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to maintain data integrity. Complete daily and ad hoc tasks under tight deadlines, managing priorities and analyzing inputs.
2. Oversee operational activities to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Analyze and resolve complex data issues, supporting Data Management as a process expert in the assigned data domain.
3. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality. Conduct root cause analysis of data errors and develop solutions, escalating issues when necessary.
4. Provide direct client support to facilitate business decisions, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations. Leverage networks within FFS and IMG to resolve issues and improve quality. Collaborate with external vendors and industry contacts for best practices.
5. Develop comprehensive knowledge of funds and securities, understanding operational processes and their impact on portfolios. Maintain awareness of the investment management landscape.
6. Participate in new product launches and improvement projects by capturing and validating business requirements and ensuring system readiness. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
7. Recommend and implement workflow and procedural enhancements. Integrate new technologies and communicate updates, analyzing impacts and preparing for changes.
8. Engage in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
* At least three years of relevant experience, including project management experience preferred.
* Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and time management skills. Familiarity with Data Management procedures and data workflows is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
* Sound judgment and quick issue analysis to determine appropriate actions with minimal supervision.
* Proven problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus.
* Detail-oriented, energetic, self-starting, and capable of working independently and in teams.
* Leadership and motivational skills for team collaboration.
