Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic Iceland department. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key in driving sales and promoting our products.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism
* Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items
* Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
* Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist with inventory management
* Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling calls from customers
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
* Working from a plan
* Stock Rotation in line with dates
* Knowledge of working food stock is desired
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Organisational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage stock efficiently
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage, particularly in merchandising or upselling techniques
