Are you a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant looking for a unique opportunity to shape a newly created role within a prestigious organisation?
My client is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) This is a pivotal role offering the chance to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the development of the COO’s office, which overseesmercial activity, property, health & safety, security, transport, and sustainability.
Your new role
As Executive Assistant to the COO, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support, manageplex diaries, coordinate meetings and travel, and act as a key point of contact both internally and externally. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Executive Support team and senior management, representing the COO with professionalism and discretion.
This is a newly established position, offering scope to shape and evolve the role in partnership with the COO and EA to the Chief Executive.
1. Proactive diary and inbox management for the COO
2. Coordination of meetings, travel, andmunications
3. Liaison with internal departments and external stakeholders
4. Project and event coordination
5. Office management and administrative support
6. Contribution to cross-organisational initiatives such as risk management
7. Occasional cover for other Executive Assistants
What you'll need to succeed
8. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EA, PA or similar role
9. An interest in the charitable or heritage sectors is desirable.
10. Excellent organisational andmunication skills
11. Strong minute-taking and project coordination abilities
12. High emotional intelligence and discretion
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems
14. A collaborative mindset and ability to work independently
