Role Purpose

Are you an experienced events assistant or organiser looking for the next step in your career? Infinigate offers a unique opportunity to join the Marketing Team as an Events Executive, taking end-to-end ownership of events processes with support from the wider team. This is a fast-paced, exciting role offering exposure to a varied events calendar.

We are seeking a confident coordinator who takes initiative and thrives in an ever-changing priorities landscape. Experience in events or travel organisation is ideal, but transferable skills and the right attitude are also welcome.

Please note this is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role based in our South Cerney office. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office. Due to the nature of a marketing role, this role will include frequent travel and a valid driving license with access to your own vehicle is required. You should be flexible to attend evening events across the UK.


Duties & Responsibilities

* Gather detailed event briefs and secure the required stakeholder approvals.
* Source event venues aligned to the brief in a timely manner, attending site visits as needed (accompanied or unaccompanied as required).
* Compile event checklists and allocate activity owners to ensure delivery and execution of events.
* Work with the marketing team to create inspiring event collateral and branding to support recruitment.
* Own the execution of the event communication plan including emails, social media, website and outbound recruitment.
* Support with all event branding, merchandise, collateral, presentations and content collection.
* Coordinate the virtual event team – leadership, vendor managers, marketing managers, social media manager – to secure multi-team participation and buy-in.
* Liaise with the Marketing Director or Vendor Marketing Manager to track and align event budgets.
* Provide pre-event, on-the-day and post-event setup support including in-room branding, badges, merchandise packs and collateral.
* Complete post-event feedback and summary documents for sharing with the leadership team.
* Travel to locations across the country as required, often including overnight stays (only 1 weekend per year required).
* General administrative duties relating to the delivery and management of events.
* Adhere to company policy and work in line with the Company Quality Management System at all times.


General Skills

* Experience in events or a related role with transferable skills such as travel planning or marketing.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Motivated and enthusiastic.
* Flexible, able to work evenings and away from home as required (average 1–2 times per month, more during busy periods).
* Confident and able to work across the organisation.
* Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times.


Personal Requirements

* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience).
* 25 days annual leave rising to 28 days with length of service, plus bank holidays.
