We are seeking a proactive and organised Driver Liaison Officer to join our Lichfield depot on a maternity cover contract (up to 12 months). This role provides vital administrative support to the traffic office and acts as a key point of contact for driver-related and transport coordination tasks. You will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the depot, supporting both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
* Provide daily administrative support to the Transport Office.
* Manage and respond to intermember charge queries, raising and processing charges accurately.
* Handle exception entries, disputes, and customer service communications in a timely manner.
* Book and coordinate own and network deliveries, including updating and moving bookings as required.
* Route van runs and second runs, printing driver paperwork and scanning out collections and deliveries.
* Log, track, and communicate booking upgrades to depots.
* Complete daily stock sheet checks and take necessary actions.
* Manage POD (Proof of Delivery) processing, including scanning, sub-contractor entries, and setting ETAs.
* Ensure all delivery runs are completed, checked, and closed correctly at the end of each day.
* Support transport communications, responding to emails and calls professionally.
* Complete daily entries for Amazon and HB deliveries.
Skills and Experience
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Team player with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
