Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement in activities.
* Support residents with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for all residents.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to care..
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software are beneficial.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for this role.
