Job overview The cardiology department is staffed with energetic, forward‑looking cardiologists, and we’re looking for someone similar to join our team. You will work for HUTH in a purpose‑built £28 million Heart Centre which includes 4 cardiac catheter labs equipped with GE Inova 2100 imaging systems, dedicated short stay and in‑patient wards. The centre includes the cardiology outpatient and diagnostic departments, 3 cardiothoracic operating theatres and intensive care, high observation and cardiothoracic surgery beds. We receive invaluable support of our highly experienced set of cardiac physiologists across both trusts.
Main Duties of the Job
Main duties of the job We are looking for a dynamic individual with a commitment to supporting the regional heart failure service. We would welcome applicants with additional expertise in either imaging or device implantation. This is a fixed term appointment and attracts 10 PA’s. Activity will be divided between Castle Hill Hospital and NLAG. In addition, there will be 8 weeks per year working as consultant cardiologist of the week (for general cardiology).
