Job Title: Park Ranger
We are seeking a dedicated Park Ranger to manage a historic, Grade II listed 260-acre estate, comprising parkland, woodland, gardens, and lakes. The successful candidate will work alongside the Garden and Park Manager to continue the estate's restoration and oversee daily park operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the ongoing restoration projects of the estate.
2. Manage day-to-day operations of the park, ensuring its upkeep and safety.
3. Work with and manage volunteers effectively.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Experience in working with and managing volunteers.
2. Motivated and able to work well within a small team.
3. Experience in livestock management.
4. Proficiency with machinery such as brushcutters and blowers.
5. Desirable: chainsaw and spraying certificates.
