Great temporary customer service opportunity with a busy online e-commerce company in Leicester!
Why This Customer Service Role? This isn't your typical call centre environment - this Leicester-based ecommerce business has a genuinely relaxed culture. You'll handle around 20 inbound calls daily supporting customers with sample requests, order queries, and general enquiries. Low-pressure, friendly team atmosphere.
Customer Service Advisor - Key Details:
* Location: Leicester office with hybrid working (2 days work from home, 3 days office)
* Contract: Temporary position, minimum 4 weeks
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Flexibility: Core hours 9:30am-4pm, but flexible start/finish times around these
* Salary: £26k FTE (pro rata for temporary assignment)
Your Customer Service Responsibilities:
* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and webchat
* Supporting customers with online order queries and delivery enquiries
* Processing refunds, date changes, and cancellations
* Assisting customers when products are out of stock
* Arranging replacements for damaged or missing goods
* Proactive customer support and order issue resolution
Customer Service Advisor - Essential Skills:
* Previous customer service or customer support experience
* Confident using phone, email, and webchat
* Experience with order queries or ecommerce support (desirable)
* Friendly, helpful telephone manner
* Administrator or advisor level experience
