We have a unique opportunity for a Criminology and Law Teacher to join our talent pool in North East Lincolnshire. This role involves providing full-time teaching cover across the Law, Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology curriculum with immediate start. It is a full-time, fixed-term position.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality education to students in Criminology and A Level courses, from Level 2 to Level 6, for both 16-19-year-olds and adults. The role requires innovative teaching methods and some leadership responsibilities within the curriculum.
The college offers a diverse and supportive learning environment for learners of all abilities, including vocational programs, apprenticeships, and degrees. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to promote consistent learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing, and an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students.
We welcome applications from experienced lecturers and offer competitive pay rates up to £230, depending on experience and role requirements.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Criminology and Law, including a qualification at Level 4 or above (FdSc or BA)
* Cert. Ed/PGCE or willingness to work towards
* Experience teaching subject-specific qualifications like BTEC and WJEC
* Experience in Further or Higher Education
* Course leadership experience
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for the subject
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one
* Right to Work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available
