Are you a passionate Maths Teacher with the drive to help students achieve their full potential? GSL Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Doncaster (DN2) from Easter Term 2025.
This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to raising attainment and sparking enthusiasm for learning in Mathematics.
About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop confidence in problem-solving, nurture critical thinking skills, and prepare pupils for academic success in GCSE Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
* Prepare students for assessments and external examinations.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment.
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (GCSE experience desirable).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full career history, with references covering the past two years including your most recent role.
