About the Role
As a Prep Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are fully prepared and ready for delivery or resale. This includes carrying out PDI checks on new vehicles and preparing used vehicles to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles
* Preparing used vehicles for resale, including basic mechanical checks and cosmetic standards
* Reporting any faults or issues to the workshop team
* Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Supporting the wider workshop team as needed
What We're Looking For
* Previous mechanical experience working on cars or light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* A flexible and proactive attitude
* Full UK driving licence
* Basic PC skills are an advantage
