About You & the Role: The purpose of this role is to ensure that Neg Earth’s equipment is maintained and serviced to the highest and safest standard. You will be part of a professional operational team, that consistently ensures equipment is prepared to the highest standard, within required timescales and to client’s requirements. The smooth running of our operations is dependent upon our collaborative approach and dedication. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of our guidelines, tailor your delivery and work within our diverse team. Open and thoughtful communication is key to ours and your success. Working safely within a warehouse environment is a key feature of this role. If you can remain calm and positive under pressure, then this could be an exciting career move for you. Your Duties: You’ll play an essential part in your team and company success story by efficiently and effectively carrying out duties including: Manually loading and unloading stage lighting equipment - various size vehicles. Stock management of equipment using the company stock control system and handheld scanners. Picking, prepping and roller painting stage lighting trusses, metal work and woodwork. Prepping and de-prepping stage lighting systems. Assembling stage lighting metalwork and woodwork. Cleaning cable, cases, equipment, aluminum trusses. Warehouse housekeeping. Assisting the cable department picking, testing, checking in, looming/de-looming, and stock control of power and data cable. Standard Companywide Responsibilities: Any other duties as required / authorised by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting line. Comply with all Health and Safety requirements. Comply with all Policies and Procedures. Ensuring that work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times. Requirements Essential Skills: High level of both written and verbal communication in English. Ability to work autonomously whilst being a real team player. Willingness to take ownership and accountability Ability to plan ahead, organise, prioritise, delegate and oversee workload. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, flexibility and ability to maintain positive relationships. Can-do positive attitude Great communication skills. The show must go on so providing a 7 day operation/service is key. Therefore the ability to work paid overtime on occasions, including weekends is essential. Good MS Office applications skills– Outlook, Excel, Word. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of equipment used within the entertainment business. This is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
