Role Overview
The company is looking for a highly experienced Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high:speed analog ICs from concept through to volume production.
This is a key technical leadership role, driving circuit innovation, owning critical subsystems, and ensuring high:performance, silicon:proven designs in a fast:paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
:Lead end:to:end design of high:speed analog ICs, ensuring delivery against performance, quality, and timelines
:Take ownership of critical chip subsystems and provide technical leadership across cross:functional teams
:Drive innovation in circuit architecture, improving performance, efficiency, and scalability
:Collaborate closely with product definition, verification, test, reliability, and product engineering teams
:Support silicon bring:up, validation, and transition to production
:Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
:Present complex technical concepts to internal stakeholders and senior managementRequirements
:Several years' experience in analog IC design within the semiconductor industry
:Strong expertise in CMOS / BiCMOS analog design
:Proven experience leading chip development projects
:Strong RF analog design experience (10 GHz and above)
:Proficiency with Cadence design and simulation tools
:Solid understanding of analog/RF layout considerations (parasitics, matching, ESD, crosstalk, IR drop)
:Demonstrated innovation and problem:solving capability
:Strong communication skills in EnglishNice to Have
:Experience designing at 25 GHz+
:Background in laser drivers (LDs) and/or transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs)
:Knowledge of high:frequency components (T:coils, inductors, 3D modelling)
:Experience with RF lab validation and measurement techniques
:Understanding of DFM, reliability, and yield optimisation
:Experience with behavioural modelling (Verilog:AMS / SystemVerilog)
:Familiarity with optoelectronic components (PIN diodes, lasers, MZMs)
