Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Neighbourhood Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Assess the care and support needs of adults and carers and plan with them to meet those needs.
* Carry out mental capacity assessments and lead Best Interest decisions when needed.
* Support adults who lack capacity by applying to the Court of Protection for care authorisations.
* Manage a caseload, including adults at risk of harm or neglect.
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to complete assessments.
* Collaborate with health professionals, social services, and partner agencies.
* Keep accurate records and manage your workload efficiently, including providing data when needed.
* Advocate for adults to help resolve conflicts and ensure their voices are heard.
* Contribute to projects and working groups to improve services.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
