Deputy Domestic Manager – Queen’s Hospital
Location: Queen’s Hospital • Hours: 40 per week • Salary: £35,000 per annum
About the Role
* Support the Domestic Manager in leading a team of around 200 staff.
* Ensure compliance with National Specifications for Cleanliness and Trust policies.
* Deliver training and guidance to domestic assistants and supervisors.
* Drive high standards of hygiene and customer service across all areas.
* Monitor performance, implement improvements, and champion best practices.
* Contribute to achieving KPIs, budget targets, and patient satisfaction goals.
What We’re Looking For
* Recognised cleaning qualification (BICS, NVQ or equivalent).
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Experience managing large teams in a healthcare or similar environment.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Ability to deliver practical training and manage change effectively.
